Barometer series takes stock of the recovery
Dublin

Printer Friendly VersionBookmark This Page

Spin and speculation may have characterized the recent public debate on the state of our economy. But what is the real experience of business leaders on our progress towards a recovery? The Eastern Chapter's Barometer Series investigates

The MBA Association of Ireland's new Barometer series of business briefings has been answering some of these questions, by taking stock of progress in a series of business events including visits to The Irish Stock Exchange, Intel, The Dublin Airport Authority, the new Dublin Convention Centre, as well as Executive Career and Consumer Spending Insight events.

The MBA Association, which represents MBAs at management and board level across the island of Ireland, is extending complimentary attendance to the business community to these events, on a first come, first served, basis.

The 'Barometer' series is a great opportunity to take the real temperature of the recovery and separate the actual achievements from the spin" Robert Cooper, the MBA Association's Dublin Chapter Chair commented. "We will be looking at meaningful measures of progress - from a multinational's view on Ireland's attractiveness as a business location to the tangible opportunities the new Dublin Conference Centre will bring".
